Sparkling Maple Ginger Lemonade
Drinks · 15 min · Serves 4 · Easy · Best with Golden Delicate maple syrup
A bright, fizzy lemonade sweetened with delicate Golden maple and warmed by fresh ginger. Refreshing on its own and an easy mixer for spring gatherings.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Golden Delicate maple syrup
- ½ cup water
- 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- ¾ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
- 3 cups chilled sparkling water
- Ice
- Lemon wheels and fresh mint sprigs, to garnish
Method
- In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup, water, and sliced ginger. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let the ginger steep for another 10 minutes.
- Strain the ginger maple syrup into a pitcher and discard the ginger slices.
- Stir in the fresh lemon juice, then chill the base for at least 10 minutes.
- When ready to serve, fill four glasses with ice, divide the lemon–ginger maple base evenly between them, and top each with sparkling water.
- Stir gently and garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of fresh mint.
| Tip: Golden Delicate maple keeps this lemonade light and floral so the ginger and lemon stay front and center. For a grown-up version, add 1½ ounces of bourbon or vodka to each glass before topping with sparkling water. |
