What's the difference between the maple syrup grades?

All our maple syrups are 100% pure Grade A, but they come in different color classes that affect flavor:

Golden (Delicate Taste) — Light, mild, and buttery. Great for drizzling on yogurt or ice cream.
Amber (Rich Taste) — Our most popular grade. Full maple flavor, perfect for pancakes and waffles.
Dark (Robust Taste) — Deeper, more pronounced maple flavor. Great for cooking and baking.
Very Dark (Strong Taste) — Bold and intense. Ideal for marinades, glazes, and recipes where you want maple to really stand out.

How should I store maple syrup?

Before opening, maple syrup can be stored in a cool, dark place like your pantry. Once opened, keep it refrigerated — it'll stay fresh for about a year. You can also freeze maple syrup for even longer storage (it won't freeze solid because of the sugar content).

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes! We ship to all 50 states. Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping usually takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. We'll send you a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We want you to love your purchase. If something arrives damaged or isn't what you expected, please contact us within 14 days at themapleshoplp@gmail.com and we'll make it right. Because our products are food items, we can't accept returns on opened products, but we're always happy to help with any issues.

Can I visit your store in Lake Placid?

Absolutely — we'd love to see you! The Maple Shop is located at 2509 Main Street, Lake Placid, NY 12946. Stop by and say hi — you can sample our syrups, browse the full selection, and chat with us about all things maple.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

We don't currently offer gift wrapping on online orders, but our Gift Boxes come beautifully packaged and ready to give. If you're ordering something as a gift and need a personal note included, just mention it in the order notes at checkout and we'll take care of it.

Are your products organic?

Some of our products are certified organic — our Organic Adirondack Maple Syrup collection is all certified organic. Each product listing will note if it's organic. All of our maple syrups are 100% pure with no additives, artificial flavors, or preservatives.

Do you have any sugar-free or low-sugar options?

Maple syrup is a natural sweetener, so it does contain sugar — but it also has minerals like manganese, zinc, and calcium that refined sugar doesn't have. Many of our customers choose maple syrup as a more natural alternative to processed sweeteners. We don't currently carry sugar-free products.

Can I place a wholesale or bulk order?
