Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Sides · 35 min · Serves 4 · Easy · Best with Amber Rich maple syrup
Caramelized, tender sweet potato cubes with a maple glaze and a sprinkle of sea salt. The side dish everyone asks for the recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup (Amber Rich)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Flaky sea salt for finishing
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss sweet potato cubes with olive oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet — don’t crowd them.
- Roast 15 minutes. Flip and roast another 12–15 minutes until caramelized and tender.
- Finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt and fresh herbs if using.
- Serve immediately — they’re best hot from the oven.
| Tip: Amber Rich maple caramelizes beautifully at high heat without burning. Make sure not to crowd the pan — space between the cubes is what gives you those crispy golden edges. |
